DYLAN O'BRIEN

Date of Birth: August 26, 1991

Dylan O'Brien is of Irish, Italian, English and Spanish descent. He spent his first 12 years in Union Country, New Jersey before moving with his family to Hermosa Beach, California. He planned to attend film school to become a cinematographer like his father, but once he landed a role as Stiles on the hit MTV TV series Teen Wolf, he left school to further his acting career.

Dylan's first acting gig was playing Jimmy on High Road (2011), a completely improvised comedy about a young man who ends up getting into trouble after a drug deal goes wrong.

He also played roles in two TV shorts and the indie film The First Time. In the comedy The Internship alongside Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn, he played Stuart.

The following year, when he played the starring role in the dystopian film The Maze Runner (2014), his fame skyrocketed. The film was so successful that a sequel was ordered, in which Dylan reprised his role. However, when shooting the third film in the franchise, Dylan suffered a serious accident during a stunt gone wrong and was hospitalized. The movie has been delayed and will be released in 2018. He was most recently seen alongside Mark Wahlberg and Kurt Russell in the true-story epic Deepwater Horizon (2016), as well as in his starring role as Stiles Stilinski on Teen Wolf.

Dylan has also played drums in a band called Slow Kids At Play.
