Luke Bracey

Date of Birth: April 26, 1989

Born in Sydney, Australia, Luke Bracey made his screen debut in 2009 with a recurring role as devious bad-boy Trey Palmer on the Australian soap opera Home and Away. He also played Aaron on the TV series Dance Academy before moving to Los Angeles at age 20.

In Los Angeles, his career quickly took off. Joe: Retaliation (2013), The November Man (2014) in which he starred opposite Pierce Brosnan and The Best of Me (2014), playing the younger version of James Marsden's character.

His surfing background came in handy when he auditioned for and won the role of Johnny Utah in the Point Break (2015) remake. Luke spoke to Tribute.ca about filming the movie, saying, "The schedule was insane. We went to four continents in six months." He has since appeared in the war drama Hacksaw Ridge (2016) alongside Andrew Garfield and Sam Worthington.

Luke, who divides his time between Los Angeles and Sydney, already has two movies lined up for 2016. Aside from surfing, he loves to watch movies and counts Forrest Gump as one of his favorite movies of all time.
