MARTIN DONOVAN

Date of Birth: August 19, 1957

Originally from Reseda, California, Martin Donovan studied acting at the American Theater of Arts in Los Angeles before moving to New York in 1983 where he made his feature film debut as Josh in Hard Choices (1985). He appeared in the mini-series At Mother's Request, Legwork and At King's Crossing. Since then, he has played roles in over 25 films and been a regular on three series, including Wonderland and Pasadena. He is also an accomplished stage actor. In 2012, he put on his director's cap for the first time with the comedy Collaborator. He also starred in the film. More recently, he starred in Ant-Man (2015).

"To think about what rewards your work might bring other than the work itself," says Donovan, "that's bad voodoo."

Donovan has been married to former actress Vivian Lanko since 1984. They have two children.
