NAT WOLFF
Date of Birth: December 17, 1994
Born in Los Angeles, California to an actress mother, Polly Draper, and a jazz pianist father Michael Wolff, it's clear where Nat Wolff gets his musical and acting talent. Born Nathaniel Marvin Wolff, he wears the titles of actor, singer/songwriter, pianist and guitarist.
When Nat was younger, he had a sign on his bedroom door saying: “I want to be a child star, Mom!” His mother disapproved the idea of her children being exposed to stardom at a young age, but let him film his own sitcom titled Don’t Eat Off My Plate.
Nat, who began writing songs at the age of six and started his first band in pre-school. He started acting off-Broadway in a play written by his mother, followed by another play at the same theater. Alongside his younger brother Alex, he starred in Nickelodeon’s musical comedy series The Naked Brothers Band, created and produced by their mother and adapted from her mockumentary film The Naked Brothers Band: The Movie.
With his star on the rise, Nat has featured in several movies, including the independent comedy-drama Peace, Love & Misunderstanding (2011) starring Kyle MacLachlan and Catherine Keener. In the film, Nat played Keener’s nerdy son, whose time is dedicated to making his first film project. In the comedy-drama Stuck in Love (2012), starring Kristen Bell, Nat played Rusty, a 16-year-old hopeless romantic. In Admission (2013), Nat landed a bigger role alongside Tina Fey and Paul Rudd, playing Rudd’s gifted yet very unconventional student, and Tina Fey’s son whom she gave up for adoption. He played a supporting role in The Fault in Our Stars (2014) and more recently, he starred in the lead role alongside Cara Delevingne in Paper Towns (2015). He also starred in The Intern (2015).
