duplicity
Synopsis:

Montreal director Arshad Khan talks about his happy childhood in Islamabad, Pakistan, and his adolescence, when he realized he was a homosexual. However, when he decided to tell his parents, the news was poorly received by the practicing Muslims, who were increasingly attracted to radicalism. In 2003, the Khan family emigrated to Canada, but there was still tension between Arshad and his father ("Abu" in Urdu); a situation that lasted until the death of the latter in 2010.
