A dark family secret comes to light in this film that takes a look at the impact of sexual abuse on a family. Three sisters in a conservative Indo-Canadian family in small-town British Columbia were sexually abused by an older relative as chidren.

Although they kept silent for nearly 25 years, when they become mothers themselves, they finally come to the decision that they have to speak out about their abuser–not only to protect other young relatives, but to set an example for their own daughters.
